Last Post Service: National Day for War Animals

Throughout history, animals have served as indispensable assets in various roles, including transport, messengers, protectors, mascots, support animals, and cherished pets. Their vital contributions have left an indelible mark on every conflict involving Australians.

A variety of service animals and their handlers will be in attendance at this event, and the service will conclude with the release of homing pigeons.

Join with your (leashed) fur friends to honour the contribution of war animals who have given their loyalty and their lives.
