Intro to Digital Webcomic

  • Free
  • Family and kids

Learn how to turn experiences from your personal life into web comics digitally!

This free workshop covers how to create a story line, visualise it into a storyboard and refine it into a final comic panel that you can publish on social media or webtoon sites. It will cover the basics of using a graphic software, practice using a stylus and the types of formats used for webcomics. You will also get an in-depth view into artist and class tutor Serene Lau’s creative processes of web comic creation from start to finish.

By the end of this session, you will create a character that looks like you and a one-panel comic or more if you have the time.

Age: 14 to 25 years.
