Hand Quilting Class

Take a two hour class in English Paper Piecing, with all basic equipment supplied. English Paper Piecing is the technique of hand-pieced quilting by first basting (wrapping) the fabric around a paper template then stitching the pieces together.

The beginner class will show you the basics of English Paper Piercing, basting hexagons – stitch and glue method – and how to piece basted hexagons together by whip and flat stitching.

Basic fabric is supplied for teaching process, but bring along your own selection of quilting weight cotton if you would like to begin a larger project. Some fabric is available for purchase, as are more design project templates.
