Glory Down the Line
Glory Down the Line follows Simone and Brayden, two strangers who find themselves trapped in a town that doesn’t exist – or perhaps, one they can never escape. The bus is gone and the roads lead nowhere. Their only hope is a temperamental payphone that offers access to ‘the other side’, where they uncover the chilling history of the unearthly town of Dahlia and the harsh truths about themselves. As their emotional turmoil deepens, the pair must confront the ultimate decision: to stay in limbo or to change forever.
A tale of grief, fate, and Australian folklore, Glory Down The Line is the premiere production of emerging company Bask Theatre, led by Ella Waterman and Tully Jones. This gripping new production written and directed by Tully Jones and starring Julia Gasparini and Henry Stephensen, delves into themes of loss, torment, and the unknown through a distinctly Australian lens.
