Free to Fly
A mother is willing to break the law in order to protect her daughter from sexual abuse since the justice system in her country does not apply to children.
A woman discovers that her 5-year-old is sexually abused by her father. The woman must start a journey through government services to protect her child. The play outlines the impact of the abuse on the mother and the difficulties of receiving help from the organisations that are meant to protect children. Finally, the mother needs to leave everything behind and go to Australia in order to save her daughter.
