Drawing the Figure for Young Artists

In this one-day workshop for young artists aged 16 to 25 years, Lucy Maddox guides learners in a fun and structured course detailing the steps to drawing the figure from life in ink and graphite.

Beginning from loose gestural and tonal studies to refined works, students will understand the process to create lifelike images of the human body in a relaxed and encouraging environment.

A live model will be present for the second half of the workshop.

All young artist summer workshops at the Victorian Artists Society include lunch and materials.
