Creating the Universe

Embark on a fascinating journey through physics, art and the night sky with superstar theoretical astrophysicist, Dr Katie Mack.

Can we really know what happened at the beginning of the universe? Or what might transpire at the end? How can we artistically interpret the big cosmic questions with art, words or sound?

Theoretical astrophysicist, author and stellar science communicator Dr Katie Mack comes together with poet and broadcaster Alicia Sometimes to delve into deep cosmological questions about the universe, physics and life itself. They probe and unravel these big ideas, drawing on work from artists like photographer and sculptor Ali McCann, conceptual illustrator and 3D artist Carl Knox and many more.

This promises to be a dazzling night of curiosity, creativity and cosmic conundrums, as Mack and Sometimes shed light on the state of modern cosmology, the Big Bang and the fate of the universe.
