Berlioz's grand Symphony Fantastique completes the 2024 concert series, as Corpus Medicorum welcomes back Benjamin Martin to play Ravel's astounding Piano Concerto for the Left Hand.
Benjamin began learning the piano, cello and composing before the age of 10, and entered the Victorian College of the Arts at the age of 15. He also studied at the Julliard School in New York. Benjamin returned to Australia in 1994 and has performed in many concerts both here and abroad. As a composer his music is widely performed in Australia, Europe and the United States.
Maestro Fabian Russell leads the charge and will leave you whistling these fanatastic melodies for days after the show is done.
Proceeds from this concert will benefit patients with lung cancer at the Royal Melbourne Hospital.
