Artists DRM (Daniel R Marks) and gemma+molly (Gemma Sattler and Molly McKenzie) take over the empty galleries with new explorations of embodied memory, wish- and myth-making, sensory il/legibility, and queered time.

In one performance DRM dirties and recalculates the figures of the public monument and the public body, through the recitals, re-enactments and excretions of puppeteered armour. In another performance gemma+molly encounter the nonlinear temporalities of water and wish making, through the passing, gargling and cycling of existing wishes between animate and inanimate orifices.

In these works, the artists work through choreography as its own applied logic of systemised sense-making and recognition.

The City of Melbourne respectfully acknowledges the Traditional Owners of the land we govern, the Wurundjeri Woi-wurrung and Bunurong / Boon Wurrung peoples of the Kulin and pays respect to their Elders past and present. We acknowledge and honour the unbroken spiritual, cultural and political connection they have maintained to this unique place for more than 2000 generations.
