Ascolta Women: Stories From the Other Side

Come along for International Women’s Day to launch Ascolta Women Inc.'s 5th creative anthology, Stories from the Other Side with guest speaker, Dr Rose Wake (Monash University).

Stories from the Other Side offers windows, mirrors and sliding glass doors into the many worlds of multigeneration Italian Australian and affiliated women’s lived experiences of multiple 'sides'. The book takes you full circle to Ascolta Women’s inaugural publication, Stories from the Inside (2021), produced during the COVID pandemic. The current publication shows women as inside and simultaneously outside themselves, asking: what is on the other side of life, memories, histories, migration legacies, time, and each of them?
