Dainty Sichuan Food

  • Restaurant
  • Casual dining

Dainty Sichuan Food on Lonsdale Street serves noodles and individual hotpots. Choose your soup base and raw ingredients, then cook at your own personal cooktop inlaid into the table.

Base flavours include seafood, mushroom and spicy (and they're not kidding when they say spicy!). You can add a range of meats and seafood ingredients from tendon and tripe to pork and wagyu beef.

The restaurant seats over 200 in an ornate dining room with carved wooden screens.

Pro tip: put your trust in the waiter if the side dish station is a little overwhelming. You'll be amazed at what they can come up with.

The City of Melbourne respectfully acknowledges the Traditional Owners of the land we govern, the Wurundjeri Woi-wurrung and Bunurong / Boon Wurrung peoples of the Kulin and pays respect to their Elders past and present. We acknowledge and honour the unbroken spiritual, cultural and political connection they have maintained to this unique place for more than 2000 generations.

We accept the invitation in the Uluru Statement from the Heart and are committed to walking together to build a better future. For more information, visit Aboriginal Melbourne.
