WBBL: Melbourne Stars v Melbourne Renegades

For just the second time in the ground’s history, the MCG will play host to a standalone WBBL cricket match. And you’ll want to be there to see some of the world’s greatest players, including former Aussie captain Meg Lanning, Annabel Sutherland, Sophie Molineux, Marizanne Kapp and more, show their skills when the Melbourne Stars take on the Melbourne Renegades.

The sky’s the limit when it comes to entertainment on the day for the whole family to enjoy. Outside the MCG, Yarra Park will be an interactive fan zone with cricket skills and drills; inside, expect live music, fireworks and pyro as well as the cricket.

Last year, the Stars took out the encounter in a rain-interrupted match, but with the best of Australia’s cricketers just having returned from Bangladesh and the ICC T20 Women’s World Cup, they’ll be ready to rip up the domestic season.
