Waste Not, Want Dumplings: A Hands-On Cooking Class

  • Family and kids
  • Workshop

These school holidays, grab your favourite adult and join this fun and practical cooking class that turns those sad, forgotten veggies at the back of your fridge into something delicious — dumplings!

In this hands-on session with Chef Tobie Puttock (and his daughter Birdie), you'll work together to learn how to transform left over vegetables into flavour-packed dumpling fillings using simple techniques and pantry staples. You'll explore creative combinations, tips for balancing texture and taste, and how to fold dumplings like a pro (don’t worry, it’s easier than it looks).

You'll get to enjoy freshly cooked dumplings on the day and a batch to take home to freeze or share. Whether you're looking to reduce food waste, save money, or just love dumplings, this class will leave you feeling inspired and well-fed.

Note: At least one parent or carer must attend the class with child. Class suits kids ages 10+. Each ticket is for 2 people.
