The Roof is Caving In
The Roof is Caving In is a collision of Australian Gothic, Piccaso and the uncontrollable urge to say sorry when you run into a chair.
Hester and Bronwyn are people pleasers at the mercy of the landscape around them: a tiny studio apartment with two trundle beds and a lot of ‘character’. Fresh out of school, fresh out of home and in their first ever share house, as the two apartment dwellers desperately try to make this small space a home, they are met with unforeseeable circumstances and have to navigate the repercussions of constantly compromising to avoid confrontation.
A work of surreal theatrical grandeur that features a live multi-instrumentalist quartet.
