Members of Etan Creative Vision Art Studio from Taiwan will meet Naarm-based artist Jen Valender at MPavilion to harmonise their instruments to the wind. Drop in to hear the Aeolian harp, the lalingedan double-pipe nose and mouth bamboo flutes, and pakulalu single pipe mouth flute.
Through harmonising their respective instruments, musicians will be looking to find what Naarm may sound like.
The artists will be in residence at MPavilion Parkville from Monday 7 to Thursday 10 October. Stroll down any time between 11am and 3 pm during this week to listen to a jam session, have a yarn and find out more about the project.
