Shrine School Holiday Program: Tea in the Trenches
These school holidays, bring the kids to the Shrine for a bite-sized adventure. Sip and snack on the stories of soldiers’ meals – with a cuppa and Anzac bickie.
Whilst getting hands-on with real and replica artefacts like Princess Mary tins and Billy cans, kids can imagine what mealtime was like for Australia's troops, before heading into Taste of Combat, the special exhibition all about military food.
Guided sessions begin at 10.30am and 11am on weekdays (except Good Friday); allow 30–45 minutes for these sessions.
