  • Music

Sean Frayne joins forces with Naarm singer-songwriter Shayne Cook for an intimate night of timeless songwriting, surrounded by the cozy charm of The Drunken Poet.

Sean’s impressive musical resume features standout tracks like Seven Kisses and Vermilion Hue, and a debut album that’s surpassed half a million streams. A three-time semi-finalist in the International Songwriting Competition, Sean has received airplay on Triple J and RRR, collaborated locally and internationally, and featured on Spotify’s Fresh Finds playlist.

Naarm/Melbourne-based artist Shayne Cook fuses emotional depth with timeless songwriting. His 2020 debut LP earned airplay on Triple J, local radio, and a live set on FOX Austin (USA). In 2023, he released Better Things, co-written with Sean Frayne and has a second album arriving in 2025. Shayne continues to craft music shaped by cross-generational influences that leave a lasting emotional impact.

The City of Melbourne respectfully acknowledges the Traditional Owners of the land we govern, the Wurundjeri Woi-wurrung and Bunurong / Boon Wurrung peoples of the Kulin and pays respect to their Elders past and present. We acknowledge and honour the unbroken spiritual, cultural and political connection they have maintained to this unique place for more than 2000 generations.
