Q-Lit Festival: Afternoon of Stories

  • Talk
  • Events

Come along and experience an evening of intimate and powerful storytelling through a panel discussion and a sharing of personal narratives. Enjoy one or both sessions.

Panel: Write or Wrong: Living through Capitalism
Writing for love or writing for money. Explore the divide between writing for personal fulfillment and turning words into a career. Panelists discuss the realities of professional writing, the pressures of monetisation, and when to keep writing as a passion rather than a profession.

Sharing Our Stories
An evening of intimate and powerful storytelling. Experience deeply personal narratives that connect, inspire, and celebrate the many ways we tell and share queer stories.

Please see booking link for times.

The City of Melbourne respectfully acknowledges the Traditional Owners of the land we govern, the Wurundjeri Woi-wurrung and Bunurong / Boon Wurrung peoples of the Kulin and pays respect to their Elders past and present. We acknowledge and honour the unbroken spiritual, cultural and political connection they have maintained to this unique place for more than 2000 generations.

We accept the invitation in the Uluru Statement from the Heart and are committed to walking together to build a better future. For more information, visit Aboriginal Melbourne.
