Picture This: Character and Collage Illustration

Join illustrator Meg Rennie for a hands-on workshop exploring how visual storytelling begins – through compelling characters and creative compositions.

You’ll start by creating expressive characters using collage techniques with coloured paper, linework and playful shapes. Then you’ll bring your characters into illustrated scenes, learning how to use colour, composition and detail to tell stories that go beyond words.

Meg will also share tips from her own practice and guide you through fun, accessible activities – no experience needed, just your imagination.

Meg Rennie is an illustrator and printmaker from Naarm / Melbourne. She recently graduated from Cambridge School of Art.
