Nils Frahm
When it comes to defining the space between classical and electronic music, hardly any other name is mentioned as often as that of the Berlin-based pianist, composer and producer. His unconventional approach to an age-old instrument has won him many fans around the world.
In September 2022, Nils shared his critically acclaimed, expansive new album Music For Animals. Containing ten tracks and clocking in at over three hours long, it's an ambitious and compelling set different to anything Nils has released to date. Returning to the live stage for the first time since 2019, he appeared at the Sydney Opera House in June for the world premiere performance of his current global tour named Music For. Since then, he is back touring all over the world, presenting brand-new music moving between the worlds of experimental, ambient and electronica.
In 2025 Nils Frahm returns, with a bespoke live performance Music for Melbourne. This is a unique and special experience you won’t want to miss.
