MPavilion
Season 11 will see artists, designers, makers, and musicians reimagine Tadao Ando’s pavilion inside and out. The free program invites curious audiences of all ages to experience architecture in new ways, spotlighting three key series alongside cornerstone events:
- Home Ground (Nov 28 – Dec 15) explores ideas of belonging, safety, and connection to Country, with captivating new art experiences, design-led workshops, and discussions reflecting on the meaning of home.
- Building Blocks (Jan 9 – 25) offers hands-on design activities for families over the school holiday period, headlined by Box Wars, known for their inventive cardboard-based art creations.
- Every Living Thing (Feb 15 – Mar 6) draws inspiration from the pavilion’s park setting, examining our relationship with the non-human, featuring an installation by Reef Design Lab showcasing reef restoration techniques using their modular artificial reef system.
