The Mercedes-Benz Car Club of Victoria is holding a display of vehicles both historical and modern at Queensbridge Square, along Southbank opposite Crown Melbourne.
It will be quite a spectacle, as they are covering the history of Mercedes-Benz from the first, built by Karl Benz in 1886, to the very latest electric Smart car and G Wagon. There will be a replica of the 1886 vehicle on display, as well as a beautifully restored 1937 540K Cabriolet, examples of the Pagoda and the Ponton which celebrated their 60th and 70th year anniversaries in 2023, and the very rare and famous 1950s 300SL Gullwing alongside the latest GT63S Coupe.
The display will include a number of rarely seen cars, spanning many years and models, showing the evolution of the Mercedes-Benz. If you are a motoring enthusiast or just curious, this is a once in a lifetime opportunity to see this collection in the centre of the city.
