Melodies of Gallipoli: From the Frontline to Friendship
This culturally diverse music event will honour the many nationalities involved at Gallipoli, showcasing a tapestry of stories, interwoven in music.
Led by maestro Iskender Ozan Toprak, traditional musicians from Australia and Turkiye, a 30-piece orchestra and beautiful voices will bring to life songs and music inspired by the Gallipoli Campaign, fusing Western and Eastern musical traditions.
Mothers and fathers, brothers and sisters, sons and daughters – those who served and those who remained at home were all affected by the events at Gallipoli, and these songs and laments reflect each of their stories.
