Market Square Pop-up Park

Conveniently situated right beside Queen Victoria Market, the Market Square pop-up park offers the perfect place to relax on the grass and enjoy a picnic with family and friends, complete with gourmet market produce nearby.

From time to time, Market Square pop-up will host live music, community events, art installations and other activities to help you make the most of your time at the market, or just take some time out from the city.

The pop-up park is in place until the end of 2023 and is is the first phase of the transformation of asphalt car parking into 1.75 hectares of public open space.

Queen Victoria Market parking is available in the outdoor market car park or underground at the nearby Munro building.
