Kokedama and Yoga Workshop

  • Workshop
  • Activity

Looking to learn something new and creative in a fun yoga class? In this workshop, you will not only discover the basics of Hatha yoga with Nidhi but also get hands-on experience creating your very own Kokedama plant friend with Rashmi. Immerse yourself in a rejuvenating yoga experience and embrace your green thumb as you make and care for your tiny moss ball.

The Kokedama ball you create will not only serve as a beautiful and versatile home decor but also as an air purifier, enhancing the air quality in your living space.

The word 'Hatha' symbolises the balance of opposites in the body and mind, allowing you to stay longer in poses and align with conscious breathing. It is a transformative activity that can help improve flexibility, strength, and overall well-being. By the end of the workshop, you will have your own unique Kokedama plant friend to take home.

The City of Melbourne respectfully acknowledges the Traditional Owners of the land we govern, the Wurundjeri Woi-wurrung and Bunurong / Boon Wurrung peoples of the Kulin and pays respect to their Elders past and present. We acknowledge and honour the unbroken spiritual, cultural and political connection they have maintained to this unique place for more than 2000 generations.
