Kindred Cameras is an educational space, gallery and studio for image makers.

The gallery features an exhibition schedule that focuses on artists who use photography or video as their primary artistic medium. Exhibitions vary in their theme and approach, with artists encouraged to explore all the possibilities photography and video has to offer.

Workshops cover topics related to photography and video. There are classes suitable for both beginner and advanced skill sets, with a typical workshop covering the techniques and creative choices to be conscious of when making images, and how to edit those images to achieve an eye-catching final look.

Topics include portraiture, still life, product, food, macro, abstract, analogue photography and much more. They are taught by a cohort of professional artists and photographers who are all passionate about making images in their field of expertise.

The City of Melbourne respectfully acknowledges the Traditional Owners of the land we govern, the Wurundjeri Woi-wurrung and Bunurong / Boon Wurrung peoples of the Kulin and pays respect to their Elders past and present.
