Italian Cultural Institute

The Istituto Italiano di Cultura (IIC) – Italian Cultural Institute Melbourne is the official body of the Italian Government for the promotion of Italian language and culture.

Their rich program of Italian cultural events, such as concerts, art and photography exhibitions, talks and seminars, includes special guest musicians, performers, writers, journalists and academics direct from Italy.

They also conduct Italian language and culture courses across all levels, conducted by highly qualified and experienced native Italian-speaking teachers.

The Institute is located in Elm Tree House, built in 1853. Facilities include a library and classrooms, as well as a multipurpose room used for exhibitions, concerts, theatre performances, lectures and other events.
