From the iconic opening to the gorgeous lyricism of the slow movement, every note in Grieg's Piano Concerto is a delight as electrifying pianist Alexander Gavrylyuk brings stunning virtuosity to this performance of a perennial audience favourite.

Highly sought-after conductor Elim Chan makes her MSO debut leading this program that also features Anna Clyne’s noirish This Midnight Hour and Rimsky-Korsakov’s dramatic Scheherazade.
