Great Global Greyhound Walk

  • Free
  • Activity

The best time of the year is here! The Great Global Greyhound Walk is a worldwide event where sighthounds and their owners around the globe take part in a walk on the same day to raise awareness for the rescue and rehab of greyhounds in need.

This event is hosted by Melbourne-based rescue, Gumtree Greys, but humans and hounds from any program are welcome.

The promenading will begin at the corner of Lansdowne and Albert Streets and will continue clockwise to finish beside the Conservatory. Those with senior hounds, any poorly paws or humans with mobility needs, can take the shortcut via the inside path and meet at the finish to enjoy pats and chats as they wind up with a sit down on the grass.

BYO picnic or treats to share with your new friends.
