Blindside presents a short series of gallery activations by two exhibitors, Ashe and WET Collective.
Untitled (cum dolore) is a durational performance that navigates the fragility of the body within rigid social structures, exploring love, gender, and the politics of intimacy.
Ashe develops art to articulate the intricate components of identity and belonging. Each of Ashe’s varied methodologies are interconnected to interrogate the politics of space and identity construction.
Cruising is a sexy, juicy, silly, soggy, playful exploration of the queer body, hospitality and the illicit. Spy on us and hold us as we cruise through matter.
WET is a collective that supports experimentation with a focus on socially engaged practice; investigating the body in public space, desire, and hospitality through performance practice. Artists are Sylva Storm, Charlie Rydzewski and Cornelius Wong.
Please note: these performances/installations may contain nudity and adult content.
