Ancient Ruins: Holiday Program

  • Family and kids
  • Workshop

A full day of story-writing devoted to lost civilisations of the ancient world.

Vines cling to the stone and curtains of spider’s silk, long abandoned, drape across the archway. The expedition has been gruelling and hope all but lost – until the earth turns and a finger of golden light illuminates a curious rune. Could it be… we’ve discovered ancient ruins!

Calling all history buffs, explorers and story-writers! Go on a creative writing adventure into your imagination and conjure civilisations of epochs past. Where in the world are these ruins hiding? What caused the downfall of this ancient people? What mystical abilities and technology did they possess? And are we the only ones that know about them? Dust off your maps to find out the answers.

For 8-12 year olds.
