Hunter Gatherer

  • Fashion
  • Shoes

Hunter Gatherer stocks a wide range of pre-loved clothing, homewares, books and more.

The items in-store are handpicked from the hundreds of thousands of Brotherhood of St Lawrence donations made in Victoria each year, providing a unique selection of goods.

Clothing can range from vintage leather jackets to the latest imported designer labels.

The store sells a range of new jewellery from independent local artisans like Greg Mann, Run Wild Horses, Gabriella Hirst and Scrumptious Productions. They also stock upcycled fashions, like hats made of vintage fabrics from The Cat’s Pajamas and Lydra’s clutch purses.

Located in the heritage-listed Royal Arcade, Hunter Gatherer is the Brotherhood of St Laurence’s longest-standing location, operating for more than 80 years.

The City of Melbourne respectfully acknowledges the Traditional Owners of the land we govern, the Wurundjeri Woi-wurrung and Bunurong / Boon Wurrung peoples of the Kulin and pays respect to their Elders past and present. We acknowledge and honour the unbroken spiritual, cultural and political connection they have maintained to this unique place for more than 2000 generations.

We accept the invitation in the Uluru Statement from the Heart and are committed to walking together to build a better future. For more information, visit Aboriginal Melbourne.
