Threadbare

A powerful new Australian play, written by multidisciplinary artist Tomas Parrish-Chynoweth (What If Only, When the Light Leaves), Threadbare explores dementia and the complexities of family through the fractured relationship between grandparent and grandchild.

Sasha is just beginning to understand their identity, holding onto hope they might one day share it with their grandmother, Elaine. But dementia has begun to blur Elaine’s memories – fracturing the past and clouding her sense of the present.
