From August, Solace Bar will host artist residencies, turning its walls into a rotating canvas for local talent. The first show launches with a full venue takeover, featuring an inaugural exhibition and live music on July 31.

The first residency is hosted by Brendan Eccles, a Melbourne-based artist who explores his painting journey through textures, colours and crayoned multifaceted faces that punctuate his creations.
