Roger Settle has been a painter for 46 years and a Postie for 36 years. His picaresque collection of paintings reflect joy of daily life, and love, which includes that for the cats in his life.
Roger paints in a style of his own that recalls European naive, peppered with an appreciation of modernist painters like Modigliani, Chagall and Matisse, blending insider and outsider art. Subjects include port towns, boats, figures, lovers, animals and symbolic objects.
Roger's particular kind of colour-blindness has led him to a beautiful palette of blues and greens.
All works are framed, signed and ready for sale.
Join in closing talks on Sunday June 29, from 3pm to 5pm.
