Join thousands on Mother's Day and walk or run to raise awareness and funds for breast and ovarian cancer research.

Since 1998 this Mother’s Day event has been dedicated to walking, running and fundraising to save women’s lives. In 2024 the organisers went one step further and made it their mission to stop both ovarian and breast cancer.

In the last 27 years the community has donated $46.1 million to the National Breast Cancer Foundation, and since 2024, $1.2 million to the Ovarian Cancer Research Foundation.

Together, let's stop breast and ovarian cancer in their tracks.

The City of Melbourne respectfully acknowledges the Traditional Owners of the land we govern, the Wurundjeri Woi-wurrung and Bunurong / Boon Wurrung peoples of the Kulin and pays respect to their Elders past and present. We acknowledge and honour the unbroken spiritual, cultural and political connection they have maintained to this unique place for more than 2000 generations.

We accept the invitation in the Uluru Statement from the Heart and are committed to walking together to build a better future. For more information, visit Aboriginal Melbourne.
