Open since 2001 and attracting around 500,000 visitors each year, the Melbourne Sports Centres - Parkville is Victoria’s leading netball and hockey facility. Located in Royal Park next to the Melbourne Zoo, it is a popular choice for international events and has hosted and continues to play host to a huge range of high-profile local and international sporting events and conferences each year.

The centre boasts a number of state-of-the-art facilities, including: an indoor stadium with permanent seating for 1800 and a maximum capacity of 3050; an indoor secondary hall features three sprung-floor netball courts; four permanent outdoor netball courts; and two world-class hockey pitches, recognised by the International Hockey Federation as being of international standard.
