The Watercolour Society of Victoria celebrates 50 years with an outstanding anniversary exhibition from artists, past and present, who excel in this challenging and spontaneous medium.
With a smorgasbord of styles and subjects on display, the exhibition celebrates the richness, spontaneity and luminosity that can be achieved with this medium.
Artists include Robert Wade (OAM), Kenneth Jack (AM), Tony Smibert, Chien Chung Wei, Joseph Zbukvic, Marc Folly, David Taylor, Stefan Gevers, Amanda Hyatt, Lisa Wang, Julian Bruere and Alvaro Catagnet.
Come along to free artist demonstrations on each weekend from 1pm to 3pm, and artist walks and talks at 11am on Tuesday 21 May and Thursday 23 May.
Many works will be available for sale at a variety of price points.
Supported by the City of Melbourne Arts Grants.
