Hope Festival

  • Free
  • Market

The Hope Festival is a vibrant celebration of Latin American culture that aims to inspire hope and unity. With live music, traditional dance, Latin cuisine and artisan stalls, the festival brings the rich Latin heritage to Melbourne while rallying support for animal welfare.

Led by a dedicated team of largely international student volunteers, the event creates a welcoming space for newcomers and locals to connect and celebrate together. Alongside the festivities, Kitty Rescue Squad will offer insights on responsible pet care, promoting their mission to support rescue cats in need.

Hosted by Kitty Rescue Squad.

The City of Melbourne respectfully acknowledges the Traditional Owners of the land we govern, the Wurundjeri Woi-wurrung and Bunurong / Boon Wurrung peoples of the Kulin and pays respect to their Elders past and present. We acknowledge and honour the unbroken spiritual, cultural and political connection they have maintained to this unique place for more than 2000 generations.

We accept the invitation in the Uluru Statement from the Heart and are committed to walking together to build a better future. For more information, visit Aboriginal Melbourne.
