Elissa Goodrich: Waves and Bubbles – Turbulent Waters

  • Free
  • Art

Waves and Bubbles: Turbulent Waters creates an aural-visual world, a convergence of climate-science, sound and visual arts for all ages.

Borne out of a collaboration between composer, sound artist and musician Elissa Goodrich crafting musical interpretations of the fluid-dynamics research of Swinburne’s Richard Manasseh and his team, this independent arts project transforms the acoustics of bubble behaviour in breaking ocean waves into immersive new music, soundart, 3D and video artworks.

Come along to the launch concert on Thursday 17 April, 5.30pm to 7pm, to experience the live music ensemble, artworks and video projections from within a transformed gallery space, an ocean-world.
