An exhibition of paintings and photographs by two Melbourne-based artists.
Dawn Allmark has been a practising artist for over 30 years and is also the driving force behind Madam Frou Frou, a hair and beauty salon in Carlton. With boundless energy and an infectious enthusiasm for life, Dawn constantly strives to push back any boundaries between her and her chosen field, and endeavours to both unite innovation with creativity. By bringing joy and inspiration to everyone she meets, Dawn hopes to touch the viewer with her abstract paintings in such a way as to elicit a deep and meaningful response.
Michaela Sandberg is a multidisciplinary artist working from Naarm/Melbourne. Through the amalgamation of disparate elements, her work seeks to merge the traditional with the neoteric, the human with the ethereal, and the intimate with the monumental. Practising fine art and photography in both analogue and digital forms, she employs an ever-expanding range of mediums to construct her work.
