David Quirk: The House That Was Never Built

  • Comedy
  • Entertainment

David Quirk's parents died and left him some land. It’s not like he had the wherewithal to do anything with it then or now, but it didn’t stop him designing a house as dreams are free. Then he met a bloke. A draftsperson. A renegade. A real one, as they say. He has the receipts.

A new show concerning all the houses that won’t get built. Metaphorically, spiritually, comedically and literally. Mostly.

The City of Melbourne respectfully acknowledges the Traditional Owners of the land we govern, the Wurundjeri Woi-wurrung and Bunurong / Boon Wurrung peoples of the Kulin and pays respect to their Elders past and present. We acknowledge and honour the unbroken spiritual, cultural and political connection they have maintained to this unique place for more than 2000 generations.
