Ash Keating: New Paintings

Following a two year period where he presented markedly different bodies of work in ‘Elevated Horizon Response’, ‘Ice Floes Response’, ‘Pressure’, and ‘Pressure Response’ across museums, institutions and commercial galleries, Ash Keating returns to his distinctive Gravity System Response series at the same venue he first exhibited the technique ten years ago.

While these new paintings are charged with deeply personal and tender insights into grief, the passing of time, and their place within the canon of abstract painting, they inevitably radiate positivity for the human experience.

Designed for interaction, the intimate exhibition space invites both quiet reflection and open dialogue with the artist, offering the opportunity to step into Keating’s evolving process and practice by experiencing the work up close in a setting that is relaxed and engaging.
