Summertime Social is transforming Federation Square’s Skyline Terrace into the city's biggest rooftop playground. Melbourne's pop up backyard is the best place to party with mates or chill out with a drink this summer.
Offering custom-built, bookable lane games (think bocce, shuffleboard and skittles), as well as a grassy communal lawn, it's the ultimate spot to kick back and relax in the sunshine with eats and drinks, or challenge your mates to a series of free lawn games.
Foodies will be spoiled with an eatery from UberEats sensation Dirty Birdie, as well as wood-fired pizzas and an ice-cream cart. Picnic baskets are perfect for friends and family who want it all!
On Sundays, the communal lawn will play host to the Battle of the Giant Games (1–5pm), with an MC, prizes and live music. Friday and Saturdays will see a DJ playing (5–10pm) and Sundays will offer an acoustic soloist (1–4pm). A full line-up of family scheduling is soon to be unveiled.
Look out for the Bottomless Brunch on Saturdays (11am–12.30pm) for $49, and don't miss weekday happy hour (4–6pm).
For the ultimate Summertime Social experience, huts and luxe-converted caravans are ideal for group bookings.
