Transitions Film Festival

  • Film
  • Causes

In a year of unprecedented disruption and upheaval, there has never been a more vital time to understand our world and imagine a better future.

The Transitions Film Festival presents a program of world-changing documentaries about the existential challenges, creative innovations and heroic pioneers that can help us envision a new normal. Film themes include the wonder of nature, activism, social and economic justice, ethical business, and creative innovation - this year’s festival will change the way you look at the world.

It includes the world film festival premiere of Josh Fox's 'The Truth Has Changed' (116 minutes, USA, 2021) which traces the arc of misinformation and propaganda in the US from 9/11 to Trump and the 2020 elections, and offers a riveting solo performance confronting us with the truth about the climate crisis in a 'post-truth' world.

Films screen at MPavilion Parkade, but mostly online.
