Merging art, science, and technology, OzGrav’s latest work on display in a Docklands shopfront illustrates the nature of black holes and neutron stars coming together in a death spiral, forming gravitational waves that spread out across the universe, stretching and squashing space and time.

OzGrav capitalises on the historic first detections of gravitational waves to understand the extreme physics of black holes and warped spacetime, and to inspire the next generation of Australian scientists and engineers through this new window on the universe.

The Renew Docklands Projection Series showcases local artists and creators working with the latest in visual and projection technologies, in partnership with the City of Melbourne and the Victorian State Government.
