Losing, Linda

  • Music
  • Entertainment

Experimental pop and performance artist Sui Zhen was just about to head to Japan to work on her third album when her mum was diagnosed with cancer. She pushed on with the album in between providing palliative care in her family home, and as a result Losing, Linda examines loss on multiple levels – from the death of our loved ones, to our widespread societal tendency to disappear within the ones and zeros of modern life's tech-driven rush.

Sui Zhen will perform music from Losing, Linda together with new material written during 2020’s lockdown, live at the Meat Market Hub. As you listen to upbeat electronic pop songs with amazing video art, reflect on your feelings about mortality and explore how we can live on after death through digital remnants.
