Lions Series Fan Zone

  • Free
  • Family and kids

As the British and Irish Lions return to Australia for the first time since 2013, the fan zone offers fans the chance to connect, celebrate, and build excitement in the lead-up to the Test. Expect a festival atmosphere with Lions and Wallabies player appearances, Q&As, signings, entertainment, and more.

Check out the 8-metre high Wallaby and Lion inflatables, or give the classic catch and pass the ball challenges a go. Test your aim on the oversized inflatable darts, and watch live replays on the interactive big screen.

Get your face painting colours on with Wallabies or Lions designs, match your nails to your team’s colours at the nail bar, or try a Wallabies or Lions-themed haircut at the barber station.

Stand next to player height markers at the measure up totems to see how you compare, get your photo taken with the roaming Wally the Mascot.

Enjoy live Q&As and signings, meet players, hear their stories and get something signed.

The City of Melbourne respectfully acknowledges the Traditional Owners of the land we govern, the Wurundjeri Woi-wurrung and Bunurong / Boon Wurrung peoples of the Kulin and pays respect to their Elders past and present. We acknowledge and honour the unbroken spiritual, cultural and political connection they have maintained to this unique place for more than 2000 generations.

We accept the invitation in the Uluru Statement from the Heart and are committed to walking together to build a better future. For more information, visit Aboriginal Melbourne.
