From Celtic Baroque to the bustling metropolis of London, hauntingly evocative rhythms and melodies of the Scottish Highlands, the Emerald Isle and the English Baroque – there will be ayres and heartfelt laments, exuberant jigs and reels, songs in Gaelic and a taste of early opera with some music by Henry Purcell.
