Greening the Screen

Come along and experiment in game-making to engage with the environment around us. Royal Botanic Gardens Victoria is partnering with Melbourne-based game and community developers, Weird Flex Studio, to create a new game based here in Narrm with native plants and animals as the stars.

Come and play in nature, exploring fun and new ways to engage with plants. Chat with developers, artists and Gardens staff, participate in nature-based activities and get the inside word on Weird Flex Studio, and Royal Botanic Gardens Victoria’s in-development videogame. Guided sensory walks will run on the hour.

Everyone is welcome to drop in, from families to gamers to anyone interested in the intersection of technology and nature.
